 MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, and is a protocol between computer and musical instrument. It is similar to the computer data but contains musical information such as velocity and length. A MIDI sequencer allows you to record MIDI songs, edit them, and save them as a MIDI file. The code below is the common HTML script that allows music to play on your site. This code is compatable with most important browsers, so if you include this code on your site, it won't matter what plug-in your visitors have. information. It is very useful and highly recommended plug-in, but only visitors with both
Crescendo and Netscape may listen to MIDI files on pages that utilize Crescendo.
